Spam calendar event invitations on iPhone

My calendar has been overtaken by these spam event invitations. There is no option to delete them. They don’t appear to be a calendar that I’ve subscribed to. And I don’t have the option to block them when I click on them. If I click to decline the invitation, they just reappear. Please help me. I’m missing important entries in my calendar, because it’s swamped with these things 🤦🏻‍♀️

I can guess that you have a hotmail, outlook, or some other Microsoft Exchange email that is syncing these spam messages from the Microsoft servers to your Calendar app. The solution is simple, toggle off the Calendar for that email account. Microsoft has had this problem that comes and goes for a very long time and is all over their Support site. It makes no difference what kind of device you have.
