iPad screen not responding in certain areas after I dropped it

I have an ipad mini, I dropped it a few years ago and since then the left side of the screen has not been working. I dropped it again recently and now the middle of the screen doesn't work. I've tried resetting it, restarting it, clearing storage, updating it to the latest, nothing works. Is it too late to take it to get repaired, or is it beyond repair, or is there some secret method I've never heard of that I should use?

The ipad still runs pretty smoothly besides the whole screen situation, no lag or anything.

(another detail I missed, the side of the screen is kind of coming off which may allow some dust to get in the ipad...so)

Your iPad screen has suffered damage.

If the screen is cracked or broken, you would be well advised to discontinue use of the iPad until it has been repaired.A broken or cracked screen, in addition to causing unpredictable behaviour, is a potential safety issue - as glass shards that may become detached may cause injury. The Liquid Crystal material, should it leak from the damaged screen, is also a skin irritant.

The only remedy for a cracked or broken iPad screen is replacement of the screen - or the iPad.
