Apple discontinued the MacBook Air (13-inch, Early 2015) in June 2017.

I believe that for hardware repair purposes, a Mac becomes Vintage 5 years after it is discontinued, and Obsolete 7 years after it is discontinued. That would mean that your Mac is "Obsolete" and that Apple no longer carries repair parts for it, or offers hardware repair service for it. I don't know if a third-party repair shop would have the parts to fix your machine or not.

Since you're using a hack to run an unsupported version of the operating system, that raises a question of whether the hack has contributed to this behavior in any way.

If the issue is a dead battery, it appears that Apple still does offer battery replacement service for the Early 2015 MacBook Airs. (Apple sometimes offers battery replacement service for longer than other types of repairs.)

I don't know how to confirm, for certain, that it is the battery – or whether running the hack would affect Apple's willingness to service the machine.
