If you have an iPhone 7, it can’t be updated past iOS 15. The iOS version does not have any effect on the warranty. What phone do you want to update and what is your current version?

iOS updates do not void the warranty. Why would something Apple makes and provides themselves void the very warranty they offer?

Seems like some context is missing in your question.

What model of iPhone are you trying to update?

Is it a model that supports iOS 18.2?

Are you trying to update in some unsupported or hacked manner?

Updating to iOS 18.2 on supported models does not void the warranty.

An iPhone 7 would not have any warranty left on it at this point anyway.
