Problem connecting iphone to mac mini camera.

Problem connecting iphone to mac mini camera.

First of all, it makes me think that this problem has been ignored. It is really terrible that Apple does not allow you to add your own device. Please contact the relevant units to fix this.

Problems:

Working system: You connect a camera to the Apple Mac Mini Device. When the camera is detected and the image is displayed, it allows you to connect the iPhone device. Now you can continue by selecting the iPhone camera and microphone as the iPhone device. On MacBook devices with cameras, devices connected to Apple cameras with monitors work without problems.

Problematic part: There is no camera on the Mac Mini and since there is no camera, the iPhone camera feature cannot be added. If the Mac Mini camera is not connected, the camera function settings are disabled.

The sound setting comes if you connect with an inPut cable. At the same time, the Mac Mini does not connect with Bluetooth technology.

Solution suggestion: It is connected to the Mac Mini device via cable or Bluetooth. Camera, Microphone features are added for the connected iPhone and it is called remember. In fact, the most correct way is to add a setting for the use of other devices as Camera and Microphone to the AirDrop & Handoff setting. Like the already existing iPhone iPhone Mirroring.

Mac mini, macOS 15.3
