Activation Lock on Inherited Apple Watch

Hello Apple,

I have inherited an Apple Watch from my great grandmother that has past. We destroyed her phone so it is recycled. Is there anyway u can restart the Apple Watch FULLY so it becomes like a brand new one. I can’t get past the activation lock because we don’t know her password for her Apple ID

No, no way to remove the Activation Lock without the correct Apple ID and Password. If you have the original sales receipt you may be able to gain access to her account though.

Very sorry to hear about your grandmother.

By the way, you are not conversing with Apple on these forums. Apple is the forum hosts however they do not read or participate in these forums because they are user to user. If you want to speak directly to an Apple person, you can call AppleCare ( AppleCare Contact Info ) or visit an Apple Store, you can begin that process by clicking the Support link in the upper right of this page.

The information you received from Ikrupp is correct though.

Good luck!
