MacBook Pro 2020 13" Overheating/Fan Running Too Much

I've run Clean My Mac, and it said that it found no issues. The fan starts running even if I'm resting on one application, then pull up an open window from another application for a few seconds. Also, I hear the disk or the fan making a faint scratching/squeaking sound after the overheating.

Please let me know. Any suggestions are much appreciated. Thanks.

It is not clear if your Mac is Intel or M1...?

Clean My Mac is one of the worst third party app known to cause issues on the macOS

Uninstall all third party apps that are Cleaners/Optimizers/VPN/Anti-Virus

Erase the Mac.

Downloading it is not harmful, but you wrote that you actually ran it. That's different.

In any event uninstall it before it does any more damage.
