MacBook Pro 2020 13" Overheating/Fan Running Too Much
Hello,
My MacBook Pro 2020 13" has recently been overheating way too much, with the fan running for even trivial tasks. Settings says that the battery health is Normal, but every time the overheating happens, the battery goes down to 50% from 100% in just a half hour. I'm making sure to have very minimal applications/tabs open, but it's not always possible when I'm working.
Does anyone have an idea why this could be happening? As stated, the battery health is seemingly Normal and I've maintained the laptop in good condition. I still have 230 GB or so left in the SSD, so it's not a storage issue. I've run Clean My Mac, and it said that it found no issues. The fan starts running even if I'm resting on one application, then pull up an open window from another application for a few seconds. Also, I hear the disk or the fan making a faint scratching/squeaking sound after the overheating.
Please let me know. Any suggestions are much appreciated. Thanks.
