Action Button doesn't activate the shortcut sometimes

Hi everyone,

I've assigned the Action Button to open the "Set Timer" shortcut. I set this up by going to Action Button in Settings, selecting Shortcut, and choosing "Set Timer" from the "Get Started" section.

It usually works well, and this is how it looks like

However, occasionally the shortcut doesn't activate when I press the Action Button. The shortcut icon appears in the Dynamic Island, but nothing else happens.

Restarting my phone or locking/unlocking it usually resolves the issue, but it's quite annoying having to deal with this. It happens at least 3-4 times a day depending on how often I use the timer. Has anyone else encountered this?

I'm using an iPhone 15 Pro running iOS 18.2.

If your iPhone's battery is very low, around 9% (in your case) or lower, it can prevent Shortcuts from running or cause delays. When the battery is low, iOS prioritizes power-saving measures, and certain background tasks, including automation like Shortcuts, may not run as expected. It’s a good idea to charge the phone to a higher percentage to ensure smooth execution of Shortcuts and other background tasks.
