Apple ProRes LOG iPhone 16 Pro on SSD not working as it should?

Hello, I've been reading and searching all over but cannot seem to find a similar problem or its solution.

I'm have the iPhone 16 Pro 128GB on the newest firmware iOS 18.2.1.

The SSD I use is the Samsung T7 Shield 4TB with the original USB-C cable.

When I record ProRes Log footage on the iPhone with my SSD connected it works and it records onto the SSD, no errors or whatsoever.

When I look at the footage on my Macbook M3 Pro, it works for about 3-5seconds and the video freezes, only the audio is continuing to work, no more video. I also tried to import the footage into Adobe Premiere 2025 and again it only shows video for the first few seconds, freezes and only audio continues.

If anyone is having a similar issue or knows what might cause the problem, please help.

Thanks for your reply, the issue is resolved by using a different storage device. I was recording ProRes on 60fps and my SSD could not handle the writing speeds. I switched over to an M2 NVM drive instead and this works.
