15.2 just killsd sidecar support from Mac Mini M2 to iPad Air

Now that I updated my Mac mini M2 to Sequoia 15.2 whenever I try to EXTEND its screen to my iPad Air 4 on iOS 18.0:

  1. My Mac's screen freezes on my TV;
  2. My iPad's screen locks.

I can only "Link mouse and keyboard to: iPad" but I can't seem to extend the Mac's screen to my iPad.

Mac mini, macOS 15.2

The latest version of iOS and iPadOS is 18.2.1 — I would start there

I just updated and It didn’t fix!

The iPad still locks its screen when I attempt extending my Mac’s screen, and the Mac’s screen freezes on the TV.

Note: The “app like screen” that used to show up on the iPad when I could successfully extend my screen hasn’t showed up anymore.

See if there is anything here—

I am so upset right now!

Even though I can use mouse continuity, it isn’t enough for me because the fact that Safari isn’t continuous between two devices - you can use the same websites but you can’t share backend sessions!

I decided to record a video to show how unresponsive the situation feels:

It’s clear how the TV screen starts freezing - look at the mouse - and how the iPad screen locks immediately after attempting to mirror from the Mac.
