I have successfully changed my apple id password but I keep getting an error message when I try to access my sign in or security on my iphone as after I enter my password I get a message saying that verification failed. How do I get this addressed?

Try restarting you phone.
I restarted my computer. When I try to access the Personal Information and/or Sign-In & Security options under my Apple Account, it asks me to Sign into iCloud by entering my password for my Apple Account. I enter my password and it gives me an error message that states Verification Failed - Your Apple Account or password is incorrect. Cancel or Try Again. Strangely when I access my Payment & Shipping, it prompts me for my apple account password and it accepts my password that I enter. Any advice would be appreciated
