Transferring cinematic clips to iMovie with edited cinematic audio mix

I shot video in cinematic mode, and changed the audio mix of the clips on my iPhone16 pro into "studio" sound before transferring the clips to my MacBook. Now, I'm discovering that the audio mix didn't transfer; the clips reverted back to standard audio once in iMovie; I've updated the Macbook's OS to Sequoia 15.2, so iMovie should be up to date. Though I'm able to edit in cinematic on iMovie, there doesn't seem to be an option for editing the audio mix as there is on the iPhone. I tried importing the video into the photos app on my MacBook, but there's no audio mix capability either that I can see as there is in the photos app on the phone. Is there a way to adjust the audio mix in iMovie to get a more "studio" sound, or transfer the clips with the audio mix as it was done on the phone?
