When I open my Wallet app, the ApplePay screen shows up for me to add a credit card. I don’t know where this screen came from. I do not want ApplePay. How do I remove this from my wallet? It insists that I set up a Passcode and Facial ID. I just want my wallet back and it won’t give it to me ugh!!!

Just choose later. That will stop the prompts to add a payment method. If you’ve enabled Apple Cash, disable it in Settings app. Please follow this path,
iPhone > Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay > disable Apple Wallet.
No, disable Apple Cash, then you’ve disabled all components of Apple Cash.
The Wallet app is still available for car keys, hotel room keys, airline tickets and boarding passes, sports and concert tickets, drivers licenses and more. If none of those are of interest, just delete the Wallet app.
