It looks like Coolorus is not Apple-Silicon-native.

Coolorus

"Coolorus 2.5 is compatible with Adobe® Photoshop® CC 2014.2.2 and above on Windows and Mac

(M1 and above Rosetta 2 required)."

Rosetta 2 cannot run processes that consist partly of Apple Silicon code and partly of Intel code. So if you want to use this plug-in on a M4 iMac, you may need to force your Mac to ignore the Apple-Silicon-native code that Adobe provided for Photoshop, in favor of running the Intel version of Photoshop under Rosetta 2 translation.

To do that, you would bring up the Get Info box for Photoshop and put a checkmark next to "Open using Rosetta." This may cause Photoshop to run slower, and it may also interfere with your use of other plug-ins which are Apple-Silicon-native.

It has now been over four years since Apple released the first Apple-Silicon-based Mac – so there's really not much excuse for a commercial software house to still be releasing Intel-only code. I'd suggest contacting the developer, and asking them when an Apple-Silicon-native version will be available.
