Yesterday my Apple Pay/Cash stopped working. I was able to use it earlier in the day and now it says that I have to re-set it up, but it won’t let me. Is this related to the issue that I have heard about from Wednesday? Is the money I had in Apple Cash gone?

Updating to iOS 18.2.1 seems to have fixed it. After updating I still had to re-setup Apple Cash, but at least I see my money and transactions again. Still think that it is weird that it got “corrupted” in the middle of the day like it did. Anyways, that you kind sir for your help.

Please start by updating to the latest version, iOS 18.2.1
On my iPhone, when I go to Wallet and then Apple Cash, my money no longer shows and it wants me to “Set Up Apple Cash “. When I click on “Set Up Now”, it says that it is set up but nothing changes. I am on an iPhone 13 and iOS 18.1.1.

When you say stopped working, what exactly didn’t work? Were you trying to complete a transaction, transfer funds or what exactly?
