Why won't MacBook turn off focus mode after schedule ends?

Can anybody explain the behavior demonstrated in the screenshot below? I have a "sleep" focus mode that is scheduled to remain on until 7:30 AM. The focus mode is turned off on all of my other devices, including an iPhone and iPad. However, on my MacBook Pro (2018) the focus mode remains on well after the schedule ends. Sometimes, I'll notice it turn off randomly - often after noon. Other times, I have to manually turn it off. Either way, it's extremely annoying and has caused me to miss multiple work notifications that were time-sensitive.

I'm running macOS 15.2, but this has been an issue prior to Sequoia. All devices have been restarted too many times to count since this issue appeared. I've tried completely removing the focus schedule and separately the focus mode itself, but the issue returns each time I reconfigure it.

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer!
