FaceTime Remote control button missing

When I’m on FaceTime sharing my screen the remote control button is missing. My software is update I’m having this issue on my iPhone 16 pro max and my ipad

Missing button in FaceTime to request remote control As an IT support provider for family and friends, I was excited about the new feature in iOS 18 that allows remote control of another person's iPhone during a FaceTime call. However, although I can view their screen remotely, I cannot request control as the button for this function, that should be located at the bottom right of my screen (see attached image), is missing on my iPhone. Lock Button to End Call Not Working To end a facetime call while on speaker No one really makes normal phone calls. I Facetime all my family and friends. So … we need the side button to be able to end a FaceTime video while on speaker. Apple get on it please and make it happen.

Why can't I remotely control iPhone screen after adding a trusted contact in FaceTime? How long do u need someone to be in ur contacts before being able to yous remote control features. I add my friend of 1 year that I trust to my contacts today and I am not able to use remote control features [Edited by Moderator]
