Apple Cash not letting me use it anymore

I recently just got an IPhone 16 and I went to my apple cash and I couldn’t accept money I was going to receive. I never ever submitted my SSN to apple cash nor apple pay/wallet. Now its asking for my SSN. Even if I do provide my SSN it wont go through because I never provided it. And yes I know according to apple cash rules I need to submit my SSN but I have been using apple cash for 2 years and have never once submitted anything other than my name, address or email. I literally cant do anything and I have my money stuck in pending. Any tips/help appreciated.

Why is positive ID required?

The Patriot Act requires that lenders, banks etc obtain a confirmed ID.

“To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account. What this means for you: When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver's license or other identifying documents.”
