A DC (Direct Current) version of Apple TV 4K

Providing a DC (Direct Current) version of Apple TV 4K would greatly assist users that are mobile in motor vehicles, recreational vehicles and boats. Twelve (12) volts DC is a world standard in most of these vehicles and inverting DC to AC consumes more power only to be converted back to DC by the device itself.

I have 12 volt DC TV's in my travel trailer but don't care for their smart TV apps. I would rather use my ATV 4K box that supports all the features I am looking for.

I have four (4) Apple TV devices and this would be a game changer (dislike that phrase) and likely a huge seller in the market place.

That is currently not supported, without an extra DC-AC converter (power inverter) in between.

You can make a suggestion for this to Apple, for future models, but their decision will factor in their own concerns (e.g. niche market vs. mass market). Feedback - Apple TV - Apple
