Why does my iPhone Flash Black during videos?

When I’m watching something and it has a really sudden movement or bang, it will suddenly flash black and fade out like a flash bang, I have reset my phone and it didn’t work, this was after I had updated my phone

iPhone Screen flashing gray while watching a video While I am watching a movie or youtube video or anything my screen goes completely gray for one second and fades back to normal. This seems to happen when there are bright colors or fast movement in the video. Is there any way to stop it from doing that? Thanks!

Why does iPhone black or grey out in violent scenes on videos? My iphone blacks or greys out for a second whenever there is a violent scene, like a gunshot or arrow shot, in HBO Max, Disney plus app, etc. I cannot find ANYONE mentioning this online. It started a couple of months ago. Has ANYONE had this happen to them and if so, any way to fix it?! [Re-Titled by Moderator]

What app are you viewing videos in. Is it home videos or TV shows and movies?
