iPhone 11 Pro Max bricked during iOS update on Windows 11

tried to update the ios via itunes windows 11

made it maybe 5% before loading bar froze. left overnight to do its thing.

came back, itunes had closed itself, and phone just shows the "plug me into a computer" pic

unplugged and replugged several times, now itunes wont recognize there's a phone at all

tried maybe half a dozen cables, force restarted phone several times, restarted pc, restarted & checked updates itunes, no dice.
