Bought on iTunes, but “This item is not currently available…”

I downloaded a new song from iTunes, went to play it and noticed that much of my music collection, all purchased through iTunes, is greyed out… "This item is not currently available in your country or region." shows in a box when I click on the song.


I use two ipads. Just updated to 18.2.1

Purchasing media items through the iTunes Store is a "licence" to access the material while it remains available. If the item is subsequently withdrawn by the publisher/copyright holder (or Apple) in a particular region or country, you will lose access to the item.
