Connecting Iphone 13 Pro Max audio to an old car without Bluetooth or aux

I am not current on new tech- so I need to know what I need to buy.

Facts:

  • I have a 1995 car that does not have bluetooth or aux
  • I have an Iphone 13 Pro Max

I want to:

  • I want to listen to audio books and/or music in the car.
  • I used to use an FM tuner to play audio books with my old IPod, but I don’t know what connectors I need to use with this Iphone nor do know what cables I might need.

I would be grateful for any specifics you might be able to provide! Thank you!

If the FM transmitter has a USB port for wired playback or charging, you’ll need a Lightning to USB-A cable for your iPhone.

Search for accessories that have completed MFi certification. Once an accessory has completed MFi certification requirements and is reported to Apple as sold/distributed, it will be searchable in our public database of authorized Lightning, headset, charging, iAP-enabled, and Find My network-enabled accessories.

Learn how to identify counterfeit or uncertified Lightning-based accessories.
