How do I use external camera with with switch control instead of internal camera on iPad pro fifth generation

How do you set upA external camera in switch Control as a third camera? I am quadriplegic I need a better camera. I have it where I can record video with external camera, but switch control Will not detect external camera. Does anyone know of compatible camera that will just detected switch control or app that will work ?
