I used apple tv on a shared device and forgot to sign off
I need to know how to disable my apple id on the TV for the rental house I left this afternoon.

You can sign out remotely for other devices, from your Mac or iPhone or iPad.
Check your Apple Account device list to find where you’re signed in - Apple Support
Your Apple Account email may still be listed there when done this way, but any functionality that requires authentication within the app or device will prompt for signing in again there, which others wouldn’t be able to do (especially if you have two-factor authentication active).
