Unable to open browser apps on my iPad Air after iPadOS 18.2.1

It looks like I have updated my iPad to 18.2.1 but I am no longer able to open browser apps.

I am told the server has stopped responding. Does anyone else have this issue and any thoughts on how to resolve? Thank you

If you have a VPN App or profiles installed, or a security/AV/firewall App such as Norton, these may be interfering with your iPad's network stack.


If applicable, the resolution is usually simple; if installed, you may only need to temporarily disable or remove the Security App and/or VPN App and associated profiles - and then perform a restart of your iPad. Assuming that the problem then clears, you might then consider re-enabling the items previously removed.
