I cannot backup to my iCloud Home drive

My iCloud Home drive connects to my Mini Mac through ethernet cable. Everytime I try to run Time Machine I get this error:

The backup disk image “Rodney Tarleton’s iMac.sparsebundle” could not be accessed (error 49180).

How do I fix this??

Mac mini, macOS 15.2

If you mean iCloud Drive, then to my knowledge Time Machine cannot back up to that service. To use Time Machine, you need a storage device directly connected to your Mac or a network device that supports Time Machine. iCloud Drive isn't really intended as a backup solution anyway but rather a way to sync your files between devices. There are too many things that can occur to make it reliable for backup.
