how to turn off notifications from macos system

"Ready for apple intelligence" pops up. I right click and go to notifications, hoping to disable all further MacOS notifications but don't see a way to do that in the notifications center. "System" isn't one of the Apps in the list.

Is there a way to turn off system-based notifications with using the graphical or the command line interface?

Are you saying this is an on-going pop-up...(?) or a one off. This is not clear from your post.

I have not seen this pop-up.

Is this an Intel Machine or a M-series Mac?

This is Apple silicon-- M1 Macbook pro.

My question is more general: I don't want System to bug me with anything by way of these notifications that appear on the upper right side, "Apple Intelligence" or otherwise. Is there a way to disable this "nag ware"? There are notification settings for app-level notifications but not for System-level notifications (unless I missed that setting).
