MacBook Pro M3 losing internet connection on home Wi-Fi but works on other networks

I am having this issue for past two weeks now on my 6 month old Mabook Pro with M3 chip. OS Sonoma 14.4.

I have tried everything that Apple Support suggested on 3 different calls lasting more than an hour each.

  1. Rebooting my Router
  2. Shutting down my MacBook and Restarting in Safemode. Onetime it worked, later this method wouldn’t work any more
  3. Forgetting my network Id and Renew DHCP lease, Reconnecting again to my network id. Onetime this method worked. But wouldn’t work anymore after that.
  4. restarting MacBook repeatedly.
  5. Taking my laptop to nearby Panera Bread, using using their WiFi to connect successfully. And then updating my OS to Sonoma 14.7.2. And came back home.
  6. this time my MacBook connected back to internet using my Home WiFi. I thought , finally the issue was resolved. It worked for about 3 days. Then again the same routine started. Wouldn’t connect to internet at all from my Home WiFi.
  7. I went my office which is nearby and was able to connect using my office WiFi. Cam back home. Was able to connect on my WiFi again. Then it ran for about 3 days .
  8. Then it started the same issue and routine again. Simply it wouldn’t connect to internet at all whatever I do.
  9. I guess I will have to run to my office or Panera or Starbucks again to get connected using their WiFi and then come back home to reconnect using my home WiFi.
  10. Don’t know what is the issue. Apple live support couldn’t help. Community posting has this issue listed but apparently remains unresolved. Have been asked to raise it as new issue again to see if anyone can help. @applesupport please help resolve the issue. This situation cannot continue indefinitely. Need to find a proper solution.

this is NOT Apple support. No one here works for Apple. The Official Apple Support link is in the bottom left corner of every page here.

This is the Apple User-to-User Support Community, where users who may have faced and beaten problems like yours try to help each other, and any user who has something constructive to add chimes in.

By far the easiest way to cause poor performance, instability, overheating and crashing is to install ANY third-party speeder-uppers, Cleaners, Optimizers, or Virus scanners, Bit Torrent, or a VPN that you installed yourself.

¿Are you running anything like that?

Wireless diagnostics:

Hold down the Option key while you click on the Wi-Fi icon on the menubar to open up the tools for investigating and fixing Wi-Fi issues

First is "Open Wireless diagnostics", which opens the wireless diagnostics Assistant, but does not proceed.

There are about eight different things you can do from here, but the top-level is to choose Diagnostics off the Window menu, or simply click continue, to do a quick check for Gross misconfiguration or operating problems. Your Admin password will be required. If any recommendations are shown, you should consider then seriously.

Next is to hold down the Option key and click the Wi-Fi icon as before. The screen that opens shows operating parameters of your network. Screenshot, transcribe, or photograph the results and post back in a reply on the forums. Looks like this older one.

There is no overall "fix" because you are operating your Wi-Fi in your own "network neighborhood". Your are surrounded by wildly variable factors and signals that might make you specific reception better or worse. What you need to do is work with Users here to determine what is going on in YOUR specific situation, and move to make it better. That will take some research.

Called back Apple Support. Spoke to Apple's Senior Support Advisor. She suggested I upgrade OS to Sequoia 15.2 which I am doing now after connecting to my home WiFi network (By stepping out of my home connecting using another WiFi and back home reconnecting to my own wiFi). Let's hope it resolves the issue once for all. Fingers Crossed. Will keep posting the outcome of this OS upgrade. Thank you all.

Thanks Grant for responding. I am not running any of the 3rd Party softwares you indicated on my Macbook Pro. The only way I could solve the issue for now is just step out of my home and connect to Internet using another WiFi network like in Starbucks, Panera, or even your own personal Phone hotspot. Then back home connect again to your WiFi network. It works every time so far. Still don't know what causes this issue every few days. Will need to call Apple Support again to see if they have any fix available. Thanks for your input and help Grant.
