Hey ! I got an iPhone 16 pro max and I’m facing touch sensitivity issues I’m coming from an android and feel like the touch sensitivity is a massive downgrade and after spending such money I am disappointed but I love the device and want to know if these are a hardware fault or a software one ? Please do tell. Sometimes I would press letter o and it won’t register 3,4 times but once it does then it doesn’t miss again for sometime

May I know whether you're using default apple keyboard or any other keyboard?
I've been using google keyboard and here and there for a while, I'm switching to apple keyboard and actually never faced an issue.
So at least as per my understanding, it's not an software issue. But anyways, try using google keyboard and see.
If not, it can be an hardware issue. So you've to change it.
Iam using the original apple keyboard plus the problem is not specific to key board it’s related to near the bezels of the screen you can get to know more about it at Reddit or x many people have this issue. Plus some were complaining that their iPhone 15s,14s etc are also experiencing such issues they attribute it to the new palm rejection algorithm implemented by apple. Also it does not always occur it’s a hit or miss situation
Try restarting your device. Bought Iphone 16 pro max a month ago and it feels so good (coming from Android, Ofcourse!)
If not, you can visit the service centre for more detailed analysis
Already tried restarting it also it doesn’t make a difference in going to apple support centre as majority of iPhone 16 users are facing such issue and it’s quite rare that an iPhone 16 pro or Mac doesn’t have it I just wanted to know for the peace of my kid is it a hardware or software fault as I love this device and don’t want to change it at start people were saying it’s software because even older iPhones were dealing with such issues but now they are saying it’s hardware so I am confused
