The Watch app on iphone appears to be only accessible from its screen icon, there is no access to its Settings in Settings or under the not so great change to the Apps column that bundled in too many system apps imo and is more cumbersome not less. I digress, but why is there no Watch app access in Settings? Or am I missing it?

Thanks Jeff, I see the settings within the Watch app residing on the iPhone. It would be cool if it appeared in the Settings list when paired and simply launched the app upon selection right from the Settings menu. A convenient use of a redundant feature imo lol thanks again.
I don’t recall it being there, but I can check as far back as iOS 15.x.x and Watch app is not in the Settings app. So, it would have been removed prior to September 2016. I hope that helps.
It’s a managed device and the Watch app is required to adjust settings on the Watch. The Watch, being a separate device, has a Settings app of its own on the Watch.
