Specific apple music art not being animated

I love the animated album covers in Apple Music, but I recently realized that Steve Lacy’s Gemini Rights, despite having animated art, isn’t displaying the moving album cover during playback. And it seems to be the only album that’s doing this.

Im so confused and tried everything to fix it, has anyone else seen this issue with a specific album?

animated cover art on apple music not working i haven’t seen anyone else talking about this so i don’t know if this is something only i’m experiencing but animated cover art on apple music isn’t working. it doesn’t play. i have tried turning it off and then on again in settings, tried my resetting network settings. i also updated to ios 18 and still nothing. i know it isn’t that important but i do like the animated album covers (they just look cool) and i’m just confused why it they aren’t playing.

Animated album art. Hello. When I play an album on apple music on apple tv that has animated album art, it starts off animated on the left of the screen with the song titles on the right. When it turns to just the album art in the middle of the screen, the album cover is no longer animated. Is there a setting or anything I have missed to make it animated? Thanks, Loz.

Apple Music animated cover art not working after iOS 18 Since I updated to ios18, animated covers no longer work on my iphone. Yet I checked all the settings but everything is ok… And on my android tablet, Apple music shows perfectly animated covers.. [Re-Titled by Moderator]
