Notifications from messenger problem - sometimes show up, sometimes they don’t

Hi,

I am having troubles with notifications from messenger since the time I upgraded my iPhone to iOS 18. I have an iPhone 14 Pro and the problem is, that notifications from messenger don’t show up consistently. Sometimes the phone “pings” and tells me, that there is a new message but quite often it doesn’t make any sound and even there is no notification on the screen. It’s very anoying, especially when you are texting with someone and discuss some seriozs topic, then leave your phone for a minute and when you come back, you don't even know someone had texted you unless you open the app itself.

I tried every tip from internet, tried playing with notification settings in my iPhone and also in the app, but no difference occured.

Does anyone have the same problem, and did you fix it?
