Over the past few weeks, I have had the Microsoft Error Reporting popping up, and each time I click "OK," it comes right back up!

Are you by any chance running macOS 12.x Monterey or earlier? Then those older operating systems are no longer supported and will produce unknown errors with the MS Update Assistant. Currently MS Office updates are only supported on macOS 13.x+ (Ventura, Sonoma, and Sequoia).

Your screenshot tells you exactly what the issue is.
IF you still don't understand then ask Microsoft support and let them know how annoying it is that they would send a pop-up to warn you about losing your work.
