Apple account activation locked

The apple account that I use has been locked due to some unknown reasons despite maintaining proper procedures. I tried to retain my account through iforgot.com and it told me that I’d receive a mail in 24 hours. It’s been a month without any further feedback. It would be very helpful if you consider checking the problem and help me thereby.

It sounds like you are trying to use account recovery. For information about how to use account recovery when you can’t reset your Apple ID password, click here --> How to use account recovery when you can’t reset your Apple Account password - Apple Support

- "Account recovery is a process designed to get you back into your Apple ID account when you don’t have enough information to reset your password." "If you use two-factor authentication and can’t sign in or reset your password, you can regain access after an account recovery waiting period."

Note that the email address will be the one you provided for your account, so it has to be working. Also check your junk mail folder.

When using Account Recovery to reset your Password on the iforgot.com website, it states that you will get an email in 72 hours that will give you the approximate waiting period. It is possible that the request will be cancelled as shown here:

  • If you started your account recovery request with iforgot.apple.com through your device’s browser, you should avoid using that device during this period. If possible, turn that device off. Using that device might cancel account recovery.

Use this Support Article for additional details and it also shows how you can check the status of the request. If it has been cancelled, you will need to start over.
