Upgraded to Mac OS sequoia 15.2 now can't get sound through iMac Speaker or Scarlett 2i2 USB output. Tried restarting, tried resetting sound out to both nothing. iMac makes a sound when starting up and the meter works on imput but no sound on output. Running a M3 iMac.
If I change the alert sound and select play sound effects through the Scarlett or the built in I hear the alert just nothing through iTunes.

I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. We're aware of a problem where some interfaces may not currently appear as an audio device or connect to Focusrite Control on macOS Sequoia until the interface is either turned off and on again, or the USB cable is reconnected after the Mac has booted.
Once this is done, the interface should work as expected until the Mac restarts.

Also, I assume the sound slide bar on itunes is engaged
If I fiddle with it, it works for that session but next day its back to no sound in both the Scarlett and the on board speakers. Get noise if I click on the altert sound but no sound from iTunes. Something is wrong and not just with the Scarlett.
Also if I go on youTube it plays there just not in iTunes
