my phone won't vibrate when the screen is off,but if I'm on it sometimes it will

this started happening after I dropped my phone 1-2 hours later.I have an iPhone 13 and I have tried everything to fix it even restarted the phone.It happiness with all the notifications.

If you go to Settings>Sounds & Haptics, then just to test, click on Ringtone. When the list populates, scroll to the top of the screen and tap on Haptics. You should have something set there. Accent is default. Tap on it, or whatever you have a checkmark by and see if the phone vibrates. That will test the haptic engine to see if it works. If it won't work, then the haptic engine is damaged and you would need to make arrangements for service from Apple. Use the Support link at the top or bottom of the page.
