Legacy Developer: Hp problem
I got a pop-up saying a System Extension was blocked and I needed to allow Legacy Developer: Hp.
I opened System Settings and was given the option of approving System Developer: Hp numerous times:
I looked in the Apple Community elsewhere and it suggested going to the Library folder and deleting any Hp items, then restarting the computer. I found instructions on how to find the Library folder online, but when I opened it I couldn't find anything labeled Hp. I have a Canon printer. It's possible I had a previous HP printer but that was long ago and I couldn't find anything in the Library or in Applications labeled Hp.
Other members of the community appear to have been able to find HP items in the Library and delete them, solving the problem. Since I can't find any Hp items and do not, to my knowledge, currently have any Hp printer or device, what do I do?
Do I have to enable Legacy Developer: Hp? Why does Legacy Developer: Hp appear 8 different times in the Privacy and Security pop-up; do I have to deal with them all? Since I don't have any Hp devices can I just delete or ignore this?
Also, in the original pop-up it says the new system extensions will be "incompatible with a future version of Mac OS" so why do I want them in the first place?
