That appears to be an iPhone 15 Plus, manufactured for the Japan market.

Parts for the iPhone are made in a number of different facilities around the world.


It is not possible to say exactly where your phone was assembled, but there is a good chance that it was in China, India, Malaysia, Vietnam or Indonesia.


Although your phone might have been designed and assembled for use in Japan, that does not mean that it was manufactured in Japan.

The original box has country of origin information, if the country of origin or destination requires it. It always says designed by Apple in California. It may also state country of assembly with components from.


As global conditions change, multinational companies change manufacturing suppliers, assembly points and component suppliers.


I think the two iPhone assembly points, depending on models, are China and India.
