Recovery key not visible on Apple Account

Apple doesn't store your recovery key in a readable form. You need to write it down when you create it - or otherwise record it somewhere and keep it safe.

Apple's instructions are very clear - you must keep your own separate copy because if you lose your recovery key, they cannot help you.
