It is 100% illegal for Apple to distribute the App. No one here knows if or when this might change.

In the meantime, feel free to indulge your TikTok addiction by accessing the website using a browser of your choice.

The fines that the law put on Google and Apple were only for downloads of the app in the App Store, neither company faced fines for a previously downloaded app from being used. Apple cannot remove any app from your device.

Correct! It is not available in the App Store or the Google Play store. Any previous download will still work and you can access TikTok on the web using Safari.

Because your Representatives in Congress voted to fine Apple, Google, and Microsoft if they allowed any user to download TikTok in their App Stores.

At this point, the Supreme Court has not ruled whether an Executive Order can overturn the fines put in place by Congress. We will have to wait and see how it plays out. We have 3 branches of Governernment, each with their own checks and balances, otherwise we would have a Dictatorship.

For now you can continue to use the web version and access TikTok with Safari. If you used the App previously, it would still be on your device and would not have affected you at all. Did you just decide today that you wanted to download the app?

Why did you delete it? That is apparently the problem as Apple did not remove it from your device. Since it is no longer available in any App Store including those by Google and Microsoft, you will have to use the web version with Safari.

Currently. It is technically banned. Even with the extension. App stores have an option on whether to have app or not. I do not anticipate, in my opinion, any App Store to bring it back until it’s clear it is coming back 100%

Why did you delete it? You can access it with Safari on the web while you wait for any solution.

You can still view them on the web by using Safari. You will currently not be able to download the app again as the fines for Google and Apple have NOT been overturned by Congress and the Supreme Court has not ruled on if an Executive Order can eliminate the fines in the law that was passed.

The only way it would be offloaded is it you had turned on Optimized Storage. The purpose of that is to offload apps when storage space becomes constrained or for apps that are not used frequently. It is not Apple that offloaded TikTok, it would have been you that told your device to do that. It would have happened whether the app had been removed from the App Store or not.
