Spell checking not working

Spell checking is not working. I made sure that Pages/Preferences/ has "Correct Spelling Automatically" selected.

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 12.7

Found it. In the Pages document go to the Main Menu and click on Edit scroll down to Spelling and Grammar and click on "Check Spelling While Typing". It's not enough to select spell checking in Pages Preferences.

And in Edit > Spelling and Grammar > Show Spelling and Grammar panel, change Automatic by Language to your specific language (e.g. U.S. English, etc.). That will provide more accurate spell-checking.
