Upgrading from MacBook Pro M4 Pro Base Edition to a Model with more Cores

is it worth upgrading from m4pro base edition to the other with. more cores

just advice please

You hardly say what high powered CPU intensive work you plan on doing...(?)

Just for everyday use— no I would not.

I'd be more concerned about upgrading to more RAM and more storage if you want to spend more money.

Most user's computers are not compute-bound.

Except for work like simulations or wire-frame solid modeling and similar analysis, most Macs are not graphics bound.

LOTS of Macs have too little RAM for the tasks at hand.

Hi thanks I'm currently started in Cyber Security Programme I just want to future proof myself. I can get the upgraded option for about another £300 and it comes with 16inch screen. What do u think. I have 24 unified memory but not a big gamer but sometimes
