Theft or Loss of iPhone

Why is Canada excluded from purchasing additional Theft or Loss insurance when you purchase AppleCare+ insurance? Is it already included in the Applecare+ insurance?

No, it is because Theft & Loss is not Apple insurance, it is an independent insurance company who probably can’t operate in Canada. However, you should be able to get coverage independently, and you may already have it though your credit card or homeowner’s insurance..

AppleCare+ in Canada does not include Theft and Loss Coverage.

Legal - AppleCare+ - Apple

As to "why" Apple does not offer the "Theft and Loss" product in Canada, you would need to ask Apple and/or the insurance companies they work with.

Thank you very much for your response. I never would have guessed that Apple somehow didn’t have insurance for this and that I had to go elsewhere. Very interesting.
