Unable to sync 'MySwimPro' app with Apple Health on Apple Watch

Everytime I launch MySwimPro on my watch and select Pool Swim I get the same notification: HEALTH ACCESS "MySwimPro" would like to access and update your health data. I toggle to accept all requested data and I can then launch my workout, but the approval does not stay. I get the same notice EVERY time I launch the app. I have also tried to fix this in the HEALTH app under sharing with apps and I toggle to turn on all but RESTING ENERGY always turns off once I leave the HEALTH app. I have tried refereshing, deleting the app and turning off and restarting both the phone and the watch and nothing works. Please help.

It seems like you're experiencing an issue with MySwimPro syncing with Apple Health, and this may be due to permissions or settings. First, check the Health app on your iPhone by opening Health, tapping Browse, and selecting Apps, then finding MySwimPro. Ensure all necessary permissions are enabled, including Resting Energy and Active Energy. If the issue persists, try revoking and re-granting the permissions: go to Settings > Health > Data Access & Devices > MySwimPro, toggle the permissions off, restart your phone and watch, then toggle them back on. Additionally, uninstall MySwimPro from both the watch and iPhone, restart both devices, and reinstall the app, granting permissions when prompted.

Make sure both MySwimPro and iOS are up to date, as bug fixes may be included in new updates. Also, check the sync settings for your Apple Watch in Settings > Health > Health Data > Sources > Apple Watch to ensure proper syncing with the Health app. If none of this works, try disconnecting and reconnecting the Health app by going to Sources > MySwimPro and removing it, then reauthorizing the sync request when opening MySwimPro again. Finally, ensure that Low Power Mode is disabled, as it may interfere with the syncing process. If the issue persists after following these steps, reaching out to MySwimPro’s support team would be the next best step.
