Where were the task list? If by 'Task List ' you mean Reminders App then...

- Click Restore Calendars and Reminders. ...
- To the right of the version you want to restore, click Restore.

If your Reminders were not stored on iCloud but on other email Accounts. Please see the pic below and add the account in the iOS mail app
