Added CA DL to Wallet

I added my California drivers license to my Apple Wallet. When I tap on the card it shows a pretty picture of what looks like a credit card but has no picture or numbers on it. To actually see my license information I have to tap on the info button and a screen appears with the correct information. Is this the way it is supposed to function? I expected to see essentially a picture of my license without having to drill down another level.

Sorry but we’re other users here.

You might get lucky and a fellow community member w/ more detailed CA mDL knowledge might join-in, but until then …

You’ll need to ask the CA licensing bureau if you have any questions about in-wallet functionality.

It’s their “app” which determines any/all in-wallet behavior.

That is true. It’s currently only good at “some” airports. I’m just curious to know if what appears on my phone is intended or if There was a user error or glitch because it just seems odd that it requires two extra taps rather than just one like the other stuff in wallet. Apple is usually more elegant than that… Then again maybe it’s a security issue to have the info appear as soon as you tap it.
