Unable to copy files to Pendrive even after formatted to EXFAT format
as suggested by many pages I have done formatting with ExFAT , MS-DOS but still I see read only on Pendrive.

you need to do some more work in Disk Utilty.
First make sure the tint View menu indicates "Show all devices:
next select that drive by its immutable, factory-assigned DEVICE-name,
choose ERASE, specify exFAT, and give it a unique name.
next, select the drive and do a Repair disk/Fisrt Aid on the device AND separately on the exFAT Volume.

where exactly do you see that?
Looks like it is formatted FAT32 not ExFAT.
After doing ExFAT also, it was showing "you can only read" in permission and sharing section at bottom. I m unable to overwrite the permissions .
