Does flash damages Camera or its sensor?

I used the flash of another phone on my iphone 16 Pro’s Camera to check if there are any scratches on the camera. Will it damage my camera or it’s sensor?

The issue with the flash when taking photos on the iPhone 14. When taking photos with the main camera, the flash does not fire the second time and a photo turns out dark, although it works fine with the ultra-wide camera.
