How do I know for certain my watch is unpaired?

Do you see the watch in the watch app on your iPhone?
What is on the screen of the watch? It there is a watch face or app it is still connected.
Do you see a connection in the bluetooth section of setting app pointing to the watch?
All good. It’s ready to ship back. No connection anywhere. When I was unpairing it, I was waiting for it to say it was unpaired. Then it wanted to pair it again. Just got confused All good!!
